VEIL VEIL VANISH
Into a New Mausoleum CDEP – Self-Released

Veil Veil Vanish is a San Francisco-based four-piece that combines dark post-punk energy with modern indie rock passion and shoegaze, wall-of-sound ethereality to create a sound that “invokes comparison to its self purported influences such as Bauhaus and The Cure, but at the same time their sound is completely their own and pure in its dichotomous nature.” (City Revolt)

Veil Veil Vanish began in January of 2006, and has since played venues throughout the Bay Area, sharing the stage with Bay Area bands such as LoveLikeFire, Madelia, and Black Ice, as well as national acts such as The Autumns, The Prids, Idyllists, and Shoot Out the Lights. Veil Veil Vanish has recently completed their first Southwest tour, including unofficial performances at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas, in support of their debut, a self-released EP titled Into a New Mausoleum, which combines dark, blessed-out atmospherics, danceable drums and high-rise choruses turning these alluring soundscapes into seductive pop gems. In November of 2006, Veil Veil Vanish was picked by legendary Bay Area radio station KITS Live 105 in the Top 25 bands to be in the running to play at the 2006 Not So Silent Night show headlined by The Killers. Since then the song “Shadows Dripping Like Honey Kissing” from the new EP has been featured on Live 105's new music show, Soundcheck.

Live, Veil Veil Vanish singer/guitarist Keven Tecon (ex-Jada Morning), guitarist Cameron Ray (ex-Andalusia), bassist Amy Rosenoff (ex-Astral), and drummer Robert Marzio put together a dark, angst-ridden energetic show reminiscent of The Jesus and Mary Chain circa 1985.
